We need you…a team player who communicates effectively, will celebrate and encourage musical gifts in the congregants and plan music with the minister. Your main responsibility is to direct, support and accompany our dedicated choir and provide worship leadership through accompaniment on the Clavinova during Sunday worship service.
Duties include leading the weekly choir practice; choosing anthems and other music based on themes provided by the minister; planning prelude, postlude and other musical offerings and working collaboratively with the larger worship team. This part-time position is based on approximately 8-9 hours/wk (6 hours/wk in July and August), and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, with an annual pay range of $9,000 to $12,500. Required Skills/Qualifications: Mastery of the piano to accompany the congregation, choir and occasionally soloists; strong organizational skills and leadership abilities.
