Music Matters 2022! Our annual educational event is online, April 21-23

We at Music United are excited to invite everyone to our annual educational event and AGM, online again this year using the Zoom platform. Music Matters and our AGM are open to everyone who is interested in music in The United Church of Canada — music leaders, singers, instrumentalists, lay volunteers, clergy — all are welcome!

Registration is online, with a variety of payment options to suit your needs (our suggested fee is $50 or pay as you can – pay less if you need, or more if you can afford it). Registrants will be sent an email before the event including Zoom links and other information as required.

Our annual hymn festival, Friday April 22 at 7pm EDT, is a public event, no registration required. Click on the Zoom link to join the event, and invite your friends!

Our AGM for Music United is Saturday, April 23, at 3:30pm EDT. All interested people are welcome to attend and participate by clicking on the Zoom link.

Would you please advise if any of the sessions will be recorded, i.e. Sessions 1, 2 and 4. I would love to attend but have recently started working. If I’m available for Session 4, could I register late and attend? Thanks.

  2. Lynn McRuer says:

    Hi folks.
I tried to register online today and was told the SALES were CLOSED. So I could not register. Will there be opportunity to register for the upcoming days ? If not, what are my options?
    Thanks.

Hi Lynn. Thanks for pointing it out – it is an issue with the eventbrite system, closing ticket sales when an event starts. I will email you the Zoom link so you can join us tomorrow, and if anyone else has the same challenge email moderator@musicunited.ca and I’ll make sure you can come!
