Peninsula United Church is looking to hire a permanent, part-time Music Director: someone who is an accomplished pianist, has experience leading choirs, enjoys a variety of musical expressions, and is able to play accompaniment and conduct from the piano.
We are an inclusive community of faith located in south Surrey where people grow spiritually and share their gifts. Our purpose is to follow the way of Jesus, opening ourselves to the Spirit and making known God’s transforming love.
Music is an important and integral part of worship life in this congregation, and we have a long tradition of choral singing accompanied by piano or organ. We embrace a wide range of music styles, ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary sacred music and welcome a variety of instrumental music.
