How do I embed a video in my post?

Videos are generally too big for us to host here on our server, so we ask that you “embed” your video.  This means you’ll not be uploading it, but will rather be inserting the YouTube-hosted copy of the video for viewing within your own post.

How do I attach a file to my post?

Probably the easiest way to add a link to a file in your post is to upload the file while creating (or editing) your post right in the editor on the Edit Post (or Add New) post page.

This method works equally well for documents, pdfs, images, music, video—anything you want to load on to our server and create a link to. The only proviso is that the file must be no larger than 2MB.

United Church seeks input from church musicians

Music United is proud to sponsor another hymn competition for 2013! We’re looking for hymns or songs for Holy Week and/or the Easter season, based upon the “Jesus” section of A Song of Faith, The United Church of Canada’s most recent statement of faith. Interested? First prize is $500 CAD, and all entries must be submitted by midnight on January 7, 2013. Full details plus the source text from A Song of Faith are in a downloadable flyer.
