1974 Yamaha C7 semi-concert grand ( 7’4″”) This instrument has been fully rebuilt by Dwight Pile, a Yamaha specialist. Soundboard re-crowned and refinished, new pin block, re strung, new hammers, new dampers, action rebuilt. This was the last year Yamaha built with ivory key coverings. The sound is rich and warm, with a powerful bass, clear mid-rang and a treble that sings, yet has more warmth than is typical of many Yamaha pianos. Price: $28,000. This instrument will provide your congregation with many years of joyous music; it is delightful to play.The piano is located at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road, Courtice, ON.  I am happy to provide interest free financing for any United Church interested in this most special instrument. Community Music Facilitator wanted, Beach United Church, Toronto, ON

Beach United Church in Toronto is seeking a music facilitator to initiate and organize expressions of faith through music.

BUC offers non-traditional worship that emphasizes music to explore faith and
build relationships.

This part time position (10-15 hours per week) includes working with the BUC
ministerial team to plan and deliver weekly worship services and working with
volunteers to support and lead musical experiences in weekly worship (Sunday
mornings) and rehearsals. At present we have an adult choir, a children’s choir,
and a hand bell choir. Other ad hoc musicians are available.
