Faith United Church, Courtice is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic music facilitator to help us celebrate the spirit and presence of God in our church. We are a welcoming congregation of approximately 160 regular worshippers with many musical gifts and talents to share. Our church has a three manual Casavant Freres organ, a Heintzman grand piano, a variety of other instruments and a 30 voice choir. Music plays a vital and integral role in our worship and is expressed in both traditional and contemporary styles. We are seeking an experienced, creative, flexible and enthusiastic music director to lead our music ministry. We are a relaxed, welcoming and inclusive congregation located at 33 East Rd., Toronto M1N 1Z9 .  We have a Yamaha C5 grand piano, Rogers 2 manual organ and a choir of enthusiastic members.  Our recently renovated sanctuary has excellent acoustics.  We require a musician who is proficient in piano and choral direction. Ability on the organ is an asset.  The Music Director will work in conjunction with the Minister and Worship Committee to plan appropriate liturgical music throughout the year.  We are searching for a candidate with an interest in, and knowledge of, a wide variety of musical styles, from classical to contemporary and who is able to teach and encourage choristers with a wide range of abilities and musical backgrounds. On-site hours will average 4 – 6 per week.  Salary range is $10,000 – $12,500.

St. Andrew’s United Church in Pakenham, Ontario is looking for a music director. Our Director of Music is responsible for working with the Minister to set music for Sunday and other services, managing the senior choir and occasionally working with the Sunday School. The music program at the United Church in Meadowood is essential to fulfill personal and shared ministry though music, song and dramatic expression. The church is seeking to fill a contract positon for a pianist/accompanist.

This positon will entail playing before, during and after Sunday services and at Easter and Christmas services, accompanying weekly choir practice and, in consultation with the Ministers, providing leadership for the congregational singing of hymns and responses.  Other duties may be mutually agreed upon by the Accompanist and the Ministry and Personnel committee.

Calvin Presbyterian Church and Deer Park United Church are joined in an ecumenical shared ministry in the heart of Toronto at Yonge and St. Clair. We share a history, a neighbourhood, worship services and one Lord and Saviour whom we worship and trust.

We are seeking a Director of Music Ministry who will design and lead the music program, be proficient playing the organ and piano, and direct our choir which is comprised of paid section leads and dedicated volunteers. Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church, Renfrew is seeking a music accompanist to start in September of 2015. This person shall provide musical accompaniment for all regular worship services.
