Gently used organ needed, St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea United Church, South Bay Mouth, ON

The organ at St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea, in South Bay Mouth, has given up.  It is about to retire.  It’s quite old, so it owes us nothing.  Some of the folks at St. Andrew’s were wondering, before they go out and buy a new one, if you would know whether or not a church might have an extra one, a good one, that they are aren’t using.  If you know of one would you please let me know.

Respectful Relationships: a webinar for worship leaders and musicians, September 26, 12pm EDT

We’re excited to announce that Music United, in partnership with the Edge Network of The United Church of Canada, hosted its first webinar! A chance for everyone involved in worship and music leadership in the church to gather and talk about important issues. Here’s the description:

Respectful Relationships
A “Call”: which leader feels the greater sense of call? In co-leadership, how do we all get
along?  How do we balance the use of power, unique congregational cultures, and service to the Creator? How do we help make each other’s expression of ministry a collegial, positive and fulfilling experience? Join panel volunteers Fred Graham, Jason Locke, Rev. Bill Steadman, and Patricia Wright as they explore issues, resolutions and healthy relationship pointers during this open discussion.

You can check out the archived video and chat from the webinar here. And please send us your suggestions for future topics!
