St Paul’s United Church, Sidney B.C. is inviting applications for a part time Music Minister, (15 hours per week) with a passion for music and a creative spirit. We are looking for someone who can catch our vision for helping to develop outreach through music.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate skills and abilities in the following areas:
• collaboration as a team member of staff working for, and with, the church;
• musicality and technicality in playing the piano and accompanying other musicians;
• proven experience in directing a choir and making it the best it can possibly be;
• knowledge and experience of traditional and contemporary styles of secular and church music
• organisational skills, leadership abilities and creative skills.
The salary will be paid following the Royal Canadian College of Organists table of recommended salaries (2019).
The successful candidate will be required to provide names of 3 contacts for current references.
