Lynn Valley United Church is seeking pianist for two positions. The first is for a Sunday Morning Worship pianist and the second is for our community choir rehearsal pianist. LVUC is home to a beautiful Steinway B that is used regularly in worship and choir, with multiple styles of accompanying from pop, jazz, classical, hymn, and folk styles of music. St. Andrew’s United Church in Cochrane is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic part time Church musician.

The Church Musician enriches the congregation’s worship and spiritual life through music. In partnership with the Minister and Worship Committee, the Church Musician is responsible for leading and directing music for worship services.

This is a part time position (estimated 10 hours a week). Fixed hours are 7 pm to 9 pm Thursdays for choir practice, and 10 am to noon Sundays for choir practice (10 to 10:25 am) and church service (beginning at 10:30 am). The remaining hours can be scheduled during the week to suit the individual.

We have an 18-member choir, a Yamaha Studio grand piano and a Baldwin organ.

St. Andrew’s United Church in downtown Sudbury seeks a part-time Music Director (8-10 hours/week, subject to revision, post pandemic) who is enthusiastic about working as part of a team with ministry, lay staff and volunteers to present traditional and contemporary music.

Newcastle United Church is excited to welcome a new Music Director, after our long serving director, has retired. Music is an integral part of worship at Newcastle United Church. We have varied styles of music, from traditional to contemporary. There is an Allen Digital Computer Organ with 3-manual, 45-stop organ as well as several pianos in the church. Along with music skills, we are looking for someone who will be able to help grow the choir back to a more pre-covid state. The position is a part-time position that is approximately 8-10 hours a week. Compensation to be based upon RCCO scale.
