Music United – It Matters

Join us for a grass roots discussion about Music United, its mission and purpose and ways in which musicians from The United Church of Canada and our partners can network to share ideas, resources, and advocacy issues. We know change is coming to the United Church, and Music United wants to be an engaged part of the discussion, to have our voices heard. As such, we need to hear from our membership, we need more voices (pun intended) so that we may determine how best to represent our members in the new UCC.

Hosted by Layton Peck and Bruce Harding:

Layton Peck (Facilitator)
Layton is experienced in managing for change and is a retired executive and life long musician who is the current Chair of Music United. He has been a Licensed Lay Worship Leader in Ottawa, Fraser, and Saint John Presbyteries and has served as the principle musician at the First United Church Mission of Vancouver. He sings in the choir at Hampton United Church in Hampton NB, and is currently the President of United Church Men of the Maritimes. He is also Head Football Coach and coaches on the New Brunswick under 16 team. He will be leading and directing the discussion.
