Bracebridge United Church is seeking a music director to begin in September, 2015. This part-time position is one of five positions on a ministry team also comprised of two full-time ministers, a church administrator, and a youth worker.

The successful applicant will work in co-operation with a Choral Director, the Worship Team and the Minister to enhance the spiritual experience of worship. Time commitment will be 8 hours per week; salary will be commensurate with training and experience according to Royal Canadian College of Organists guidelines. The music program at the United Church in Meadowood is essential to fulfill personal and shared ministry though music, song and dramatic expression. The church is seeking to fill a contract positon for a pianist/accompanist.
This positon will entail playing before, during and after Sunday services and at Easter and Christmas services, accompanying weekly choir practice and, in consultation with the Ministers, providing leadership for the congregational singing of hymns and responses. Other duties may be mutually agreed upon by the Accompanist and the Ministry and Personnel committee.
Calvin Presbyterian Church and Deer Park United Church are joined in an ecumenical shared ministry in the heart of Toronto at Yonge and St. Clair. We share a history, a neighbourhood, worship services and one Lord and Saviour whom we worship and trust.
We are seeking a Director of Music Ministry who will design and lead the music program, be proficient playing the organ and piano, and direct our choir which is comprised of paid section leads and dedicated volunteers. Since we were in Ontario for our 2015 event, at Emmanuel United Church in North Bay, ON, we’re hoping to be outside of Ontario for 2016. Previous years we have been in Red Deer, AB (2014), Riverview, NB (2013), and Brandon, MB (2012).

Olivet United Church is seeking a part-time Music Director, for a term beginning August 1, 2015 and ending July 31st, 2016. The Olivet congregation enjoys a wide range of music experiences with regular participation by our Chancel Choir and our Praise Group and occasional participation of a Hand Bell group and our Junior Church Children. Our sanctuary has wonderful acoustics, a Baby Grand piano and a 2 manual Allen Digital Computer (1988) organ. A Yamaha DGX 650 B keyboard is also used in worship and rehearsals. Three upright pianos are available in other areas of the Church.
